Bus lines of Spetses Island
There are 2 bus lines on the island, they leave from two different points in the city. The first bus departs from Ayios Mamas, final destination in Ayia Paraskevi. The other bus departs from Poseidonion Pier and its final destination is Vrelos Beach.
The buses
To enjoy the beautiful beaches of Spetses, whether organized or remote hidden gems, there are two main bus lines, one to the other side of the island (mostly uninhabited) and the other towards the west side of the island. For your convenience, check the bus schedules at their departure points.
The bus makes several trips until the afternoon and then again in the evening. Check the timetable at the starting point in Poseidonio Square. The 2 lines serve the following points:
Departure from the municipal beach of Agios Mamas Agia Marina, the line towards Xilokeriza - Agii Anargiri - Agia Paraskevi.
Departure from Poseidonio Square, the line towards Kounoupitsa - Scholes - Ligoneri - Ikismos - Vrellos. This bus line takes you to the island's organized and unorganized beaches, passing through the residential area of Ikismos in Ligoneri.
Passengers usually purchase a return ticket, although passengers stopping at Ayia Anargyri or Ayia Paraskevi may purchase a one-way ticket and then decide to take the boat back for a change. All schedules should be checked in advance.
Timetables are indicated at the stops and buses usually start in May and end in September/October depending on passenger volume.
The Ayios Mamas bus stop stops at Ayia Marina, Kouzounos, Xilokersiza, Ayia Anargyri and Ayia Paraskevi.
The bus from Poseidonion Pier stop stops at Kaiki Beach, Ligonerie and Vrelos.
