It is a Greek public bus transport company which serves the regions of Chania and Rethymno in Crete, with connections to Heraklion the island's capital.
The company serves more than 100 destinations in the regions of Chania and Rethymno, through intercity transport services, school transport, parcel transport, it has a fleet of around 200 vehicles.

The history of the KTEL Chania-Rethymnon company
- 1927: The first bus services in Western Crete begin, operated by private entrepreneurs.
- 1952: A decree establishes KTELs as non-profit public transport cooperatives, bringing together different entrepreneurs.
- 1953: There are 2 KTEL companies which provide passenger transport on this western part of the island, KTEL Chania and KTEL Rethymnon.
- 1973: It was not until 1973 that the two KTELs merged to form KTEL Chania-Rethymnon.
- Since then: The KTEL Chania-Rethymnon has grown steadily and modernized to provide quality public transport service to residents and visitors of Western Crete.
