Amorgos
The easternmost island of the Cyclades archipelago has two ports on its northwest coast: Katapola in the center and Aegiali in the northwest.
The capital, Chóra, is located 320 m above sea level in the heart of the island, 10 km from Katapola. The island is divided into 3 parts, Aegiali in the North (Langada, Tholaria, Potamos), Katapola and Chóra in the center and the lower country in the South (the Kato Meria).
The island is famous for its monastery of Chozoviotissa clinging to the cliff and the notoriety acquired with Luc Besson's film Le Grand Bleu.
