This federation is today responsible for the coordination and management of public bus transport services throughout Crete.
- Over the years, the KTELs of Crete have played an important role in the economic and social development of the island by helping to improve the mobility of people and goods, and have enabled the inhabitants of Crete to more easily access services education, health and employment.
